Adult Craft Club

The goal of Craft Club is to try new arts and crafts techniques. The projects focus more on the technique than on the outcome and everyone's project turns out differently. No experience is necessary for any of the projects.

Craft Club Fall 2023

The Fall 2023 season of Adult Craft Club has arrived! We will meet at the Stoughton Fire Station the first Thursday of the month 6:30-8PM and get crafty together. Registration for each craft opens two weeks beforehand, online or by phone. Email storef [at] stolib.org if you'd like to be added to the Craft Club notification list.

Ren Faire craft – September 7th
Join us to create some amazing new-world family crests by painting on jersey fabric using stencils and creativity. Using a very scientific MEME, learn your family crest design, or DIY your own design.

Alcohol Ink Coasters – October 5th
Long ago, in the time of Covid, we did an alcohol ink introduction craft on paper. This time we’ll do it in-person, so we'll have many more colors to share! Use alcohol inks to make a pair of cool, non-Covid-times, tile coasters! Materials provided, unless you have some non-permeable things to share. (Think light switch covers and glazed ceramics).

Costume Jewelry Collage – November 2nd
If your Great Aunt had junk jewelry on velvet in a frame that you envied as a child, you are in LUCK! We received a large donation of jewelry bits and we are going to try our hand at this retro craft. Choose a geometric shape and start gluing. All materials provided!

Nordic Fabric Star– December 7th
These fabric stars are so charming and NO SEWING is needed! Some of you might be sick of sewing, but the fabric … so many patterns, so little time! All materials provided, but feel free to bring in some quilting cotton to share from your stash.
